Columns

Every board uses the same seven columns: Inbox, Scheduled, To do, Doing, Waiting on human, Review, and Done.

What each column means

Inbox captures new work. Scheduled holds work with a future date. To do is ready to start. Doing is active. Waiting on human needs a person to act. Review needs checking. Done is complete.

Scheduled is not To do

A scheduled card has a date but is not ready yet. The steward moves it to To do when that date arrives, so future work does not crowd the ready queue.
